The heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant topcoat agent '5K189' is a water-based topcoat agent for zinc plating and zinc alloy plating.
By applying treatment on trivalent chromium conversion coatings, excellent corrosion resistance is imparted, and this performance is maintained even after heating. There is almost no change in appearance or decrease in corrosion resistance even after heating at 200°C.
A key feature is that it allows for short-time treatment by immersion only, without the need for heating or cooling of the treatment solution, contributing to increased productivity and reduced energy costs.
Additionally, due to the immersion treatment, it can be processed with equipment at the same level as post-treatment for plating (no exhaust or explosion-proof equipment required).
